Psalms 95

1O come, let us sing to the Lord;

let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation! # Ps 81:1; 89:26

2Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; # Ps 100:4; Mic 6:6

let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms!

3For the Lord is a great God,

and a great King above all gods. # Ps 96:4; 97:9

4In His hand are the deep places of the earth; # Ps 135:6

the heights of the mountains are His also.

5The sea is His, for He made it,

and His hands formed the dry land. # Ge 1:9–10

6Oh come, let us worship and bow down; # 2Ch 6:13

let us kneel before the Lord, our maker! # Ps 100:3

7For He is our God,

and we are the people of His pasture,

and the sheep of His hand.

Today, if you will hear His voice, # Heb 3:15; 4:7

8do not harden your hearts, as at Meribah,

as on the day of Massah in the wilderness, # Ex 17:7; Nu 20:13; Dt 6:16

9when your fathers tested Me; they tried Me, # 1Co 10:9

though they had seen My work. # Nu 14:22

10For forty years I loathed that generation, # Ac 7:36; Heb 3:17

and said, “They are a people who go astray in their heart,

and they do not know My ways.”

11Therefore I swore in My wrath,

“They shall not enter My rest.” # Nu 14:23; Heb 4:3
