Psalms 43

1Vindicate me, O God, # Ps 26:1

and plead my cause # 1Sa 24:15 against an ungodly people;

deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!

2For You are the God of my refuge;

why have You cast me off?

Why do I walk about mourning

because of the oppression of the enemy? # Ps 42:9

3Oh send out Your light and Your truth;

let them lead me;

let them bring me to Your holy hill # Ps 2:6; 3:4

and to Your dwelling.

4Then I will go to the altar of God,

to God my exceeding joy,

and with the harp I will praise You, # Ps 57:8

O God, my God.

5Why are you cast down, O my soul?

And why are you disquieted within me?

Hope in God;

for I shall again praise Him,

my salvation and my God. # Ps 42:5, 11
