Speak the Truth in Love 

The words you say can either ignite faith in others or extinguish it. That is how powerful your words are. They either kill or heal. The choice is yours. 

So, when you speak the truth in love, you are doing two things: 

1. Sowing seeds of truth that bring life and freedom to others.
2. Planting seeds in the fertile soil of love that allows them to grow best.

The bottom line is, truth and love go hand in hand. You can’t have one without the other. Because Jesus is both truth and love.

Think about it. If you’re truthful, but not loving—that’s not Jesus. And if you’re loving, but not truthful—that’s not Jesus either. Jesus is both truth and love.

But, when you speak the truth in love, it breeds the perfect environment for spiritual growth. Truth is the seed and love is the soil. 

So, if you desire to live out your faith, then learn to speak the truth in love, and watch as the Lord uses you to bring life to those around you!
