Day 5: God With Us

This song is a simple quick to the point reminder that no matter what you are going through that God is not only with you, but God also goes before you, behind you and is a shield all around you.  I love the story in 2 Kings with Elisha and the servant. When the servant saw the enemy; he came out of his tent and said to the master that he saw with his natural eyes that the enemy was pursuing them and they were there kill them. He said, "They have surrounded us" and Elisha simply says this prayer, "God open his eyes that he may see what I see".

Then the Bible says that it was in that moment that the servant opened his eyes and that every place the enemy had surrounded them, a vast army of Angels from heaven was surrounding them. It was a simple reminder that not only was God going to take them out, but that there is always more for you than there are against you. On this final day of the devotion we want you to remember that when God is with you, who can be against you? Thank you for joining us for these past 5 days. We hope you are renewed, inspired and refreshed! So if you are sick in your body or find yourself where you feel the enemy is just beating you down, take your stand, activate your faith and place your trust in God. Declare that all things work together for the good of those who love him. Remember God is not only with you but He also goes before you, behind you and is a shield all around you. You win!
