A Stiff Heart No one wants to be stubborn and obstinate. Yet such character traits plague us more than we want to admit. It is therefore important for us to have a teachable heart that can listen and receive God’s teaching so we may walk in the right way. Prayer: Lord, forgive me when my heart is hardened and obstinate and thus I refuse to listen to you. Please help me to have a soft and yielding heart so I will submit to your divine sovereignty. Thank you. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
