Like Clay Can you imagine the clay on a potter’s wheel making suggestions to the potter about how it should look or improvements in techniques? Or how about the clay getting up and walking off the wheel? These ideas are ridiculous. The potter is in charge of the whole process - and I’m glad. His perspective is much better than ours. He’s making something of my life - and yours - that will count for all eternity. Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for your patience in working me into the vessel of honor for you and your glory. Help me to accept the molding and shaping process, even when it is sometimes painful. I know you love me and want the best for me. I want to conform my life to your design, not my own. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
