Healer: Encountering the God Who Restores预览

Day 6: Healing for the Brokenhearted
Some wounds don’t bleed, bruise, or scar on the outside. No, instead they ache—quietly, constantly.
- The loss no one else wants to remember.
- A betrayal that still stings.
- Deep disappointment that left you numb.
- That unspeakable sorrow you still carry in silence.
Wounds like these, only God can truly reach. And He doesn’t overlook them, even if it might seem that way at the time. “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3 ESV).
God, your Father, speaks with the language of tenderness—not quick fixes. Binding up a wound takes time, not just on His part, but also on yours. It requires care.
God is close enough to see where it hurts, and steady enough to stay until it’s whole.
You don’t have to hide your broken places from God. You don’t have to pretend you're okay. He already knows, and He’s drawing near.
Let Him into the places that still feel fragile. Allow Him to begin what only He can finish. You are not too far gone. You are not too broken, and you don’t have to heal alone.
Today’s Declaration
You see my pain, and You are gently healing what’s been broken.
A Moment of Reflection
- Are there any emotional wounds you’ve been carrying quietly?
- What might it look like to let God gently touch those places today?
A Prayer to Begin
Father, You know the parts of me that still hurt—the losses, the heartbreak, the things I’ve tried to push down or hide. I give them to You now. Thank You for being close to the brokenhearted. I appreciate how You care enough to bind up what no one else sees. I trust You to heal me from the inside out. In Jesus’ name, amen.
