Leviticus 26 explains the consequences of all the commandments given in the previous 25 chapters.

Verses 3-13 speak about the consequences if the Israelites lived according to God’s commandments.

Verses 14-39 speak about consequences if the Israelites disobeyed God’s commandments.

Nevertheless, our God is a God who longs to restore relationships, who provides a way out and welcomes His people with open arms when they repent – as explained in verses 40-45.
