Scripture Reading 1 Thessalonians 2:17—3:13 Today’s Key Verse: 1 Thessalonians 3:8b Stand firm in your life in union with the Lord. Reflect Today's reading includes another reference to Christ's return (2:19 and 3:13; see also 1:10). What are your thoughts as to why Paul speaks of this? What was Paul's reason for sending Timothy to the Thessalonians (3:2-5)? What was Timothy's report to Paul (3:6)? Verses 3:11-13 read like a prayer. What does Paul say?
