Ти ж, коли молишся, увійди у внутрішню кімнату, замкни двері і помолися своєму Отцю таємно; і твій Отець, Який бачить таємне, віддасть тобі явно. А молячись, не повторюйте пусті слова, як язичники, бо вони думають, що будуть почуті за своє багатослів’я.
