As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to live holy and shine boldly.
The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 1:14-16, “As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Disciples of Jesus Christ are to reject the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life and live holy as God is holy.
Holiness, as the passage describes, should be in “all manner of conversation”. Every part of our lives should be holy, as the God we serve is holy.
We are ambassadors for Christ, and our lives are to fully reflect His glory. We represent Him to a lost and dying world! How well have you been representing Jesus lately?
