Disciples of Jesus Christ, be very careful to avoid scenarios that tempt us to sin. Do not set yourself up for failure when God gives you the strength to see victory. You are no longer a slave to sin; you do not have to give in to it. God gives us the power to say NO.
Romans 13:14 says, “But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.” We should not put ourselves in a position that makes it easy to sin. We should make it as hard as possible to sin. If we make provisions for the flesh, we put ourselves in a position to fulfill our fleshly lustful desires.
Disciples should put on the Lord Jesus and make no provision for the flesh.
