Go Tell It on the Mountain

DAY 14 OF 14

GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN

Over the past two weeks, we’ve watched the story unfold—from Mary’s obedience, to the shepherds’ joy, to the Magi’s worship. We’ve seen how the coming of Jesus Christ changed, and still changes, everything. He changes how we see our lives, how we treat others, and how we live each day. Simply put, Jesus changes everything.

So as we close this Advent journey, we’re left with one question: What now? The promise of the Messiah has been fulfilled. The Savior has come. And now, we wait for His return—the day He will make all things new. But waiting doesn’t mean standing still.

What do we do now? We celebrate. We proclaim. We go.

The prophet Isaiah declared, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news” (Isaiah 52:7). Centuries later, Paul echoed those same words, reminding us that the story we’ve received is meant to be shared. The birth of Jesus isn’t just good news for us—it’s good news for the whole world.

The message of Christmas is a message on the move. Like the shepherds, the Magi, and all who have met Jesus since, we are called to go and tell. Tell it from the mountains, the workplaces, the neighborhoods, around the dinner tables. Tell it through your words and through your life—that Jesus Christ is born, and He is coming again.

It’s go time!
