God Is Never Late

DAY 1 OF 8

An Instant World

We live in a fast-paced world where everything is instant and just a click away from whatever we need. Through social media, the internet, and modern technology, we're connected to everything almost instantly. We’re used to instant coffee, instant soup, pre-cooked meals—we want everything quick, fast, and now.

I remember my grandmother saying that in order for food to release its flavor and substance, it must be cooked slowly. If you rush on a high heat, the food would burn or dry out, without substance. The same happens in our lives, and if there is something to understand from this illustration, it's that God is never in a hurry. He doesn’t work on our timing. He doesn't quickly arrive by bicycle or private jet when you call him—He doesn’t need to rush. He has a perfect plan for each of us.

Stop rushing ahead. This trial you may be going through is a blessing that God is allowing to happen so He can say: “Give Me your hand, and let’s go together to the other side.” When you're holding Jesus’ hand, you can be sure that your blessing is near.

Have you trusted in the great and mighty God? You may surely say yes—but in the heat of the trial, trusting can be very hard. I still want to remind you that: He will never stop being God. He will never cease being on the throne, and He will never stop loving you. For the God who created you not only has perfect timing, but He also loves you with eternal love.

About this Plan

God Is Never Late

In the midst of trials and adversity, when you feel like the ground has been taken from under you and you don't know where to go or what to do, you must understand that you are not alone, God is with you. The purpose of this plan is for God to send His joy into your life, give you the strength to carry on and wait on Him, and to help you understand that no matter what happens, God is never late.
