Reconcilers

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. - 2 Corinthians 5:18-19

God of the resurrection! Thank You for making all things new in Christ, for purifying me and declaring that I am a new creation! Hallelujah! Lord, You have given the greatest love to Your children through the sacrifice and resurrection of Christ, because Your desire is to reconcile the world to You. Now, Holy Spirit, please empower me and believers everywhere to be “reconcilers” who focus on the ministry and message of reconciliation. Help me to encourage those I encounter who do not know You to receive Your love and everlasting life in Christ. Help me to share the truth of Your Word to those who feel ashamed and guilty, because there is no condemnation in Christ. Thank You for not counting our sins against us and instead forgiving us over and over again. Help all who have received Your forgiveness to forgive others. You are Jehovah-Tsikinu, the Lord Our Righteousness. In Jesus’ name, amen.
