Grief Survivor: 30 Steps Toward Hope and Healing Намуна

"CALL IF YOU NEED ANYTHING"
You may have heard this well-intended offer, but chances are you never called back. Here's a straightforward way to communicate exactly what you need. As you think of something you'd appreciate help with, start a list, and post it on your refrigerator. Your list might include:
- caring for your children for a couple hours
- raking the leaves
- technical assistance, or setting up auto payment for bills
- walking the dog
- driving carpool
Whenever something comes to mind, add it to the list. The next time some asks how they can help, snap a photo of the list and text or email it to them. If you don't use technology, keep the list close by so you'll have ideas when someone offers support. When people know specifically what you need, they're able to show up and make your life a little less complicated.
Reflect: What could go on your list now?

About this Plan

Losing a loved one can leave you anxious, confused, and even feeling a little bit crazy. The good news is you're not crazy. You're grieving. Author, Beth Marshall understands. After losing some of her favorite family members, she wasn't sure where to turn. She ultimately found great comfort through God's word and by writing straight through the valley until the light began to shine again. You're invited to grab a journal, reflect or write through the daily prompts, and allow the Lord to begin to heal your heart.
