Your Book Is a Seed: 7 Days to Activate Your Calling as a Writing Mom

DAY 7 OF 7

🌱Day 7: Hey Mama, It’s Time to Sow

Scripture:
“Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.”

‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭11‬:‭6‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Devotional:
You’ve prayed. You’ve dreamed. You’ve felt the tug to write. But at some point, the seed has to leave your hand and touch the soil.

This is your time.

We often wait for perfect clarity, the right conditions, or a sign from heaven. But sometimes, the confirmation comes after the obedience. The fruit doesn’t come before the sowing — it comes because of it.

God is inviting you to release what He’s placed inside you. Your book doesn’t have to be perfect — just planted.

Even if you’ve never written before… even if you feel unsure… even if you’ve started and stopped a hundred times —start again.

Your story is sacred. Your words will take root. It’s time to sow.

Reflection Question:
What is one action you can take this week to move forward with the book God placed in your heart?

Prayer:
Lord, I don’t want to bury what You’ve given me. I want to sow it in faith. Help me take the next step, even if it’s small. Let my obedience bear fruit for Your glory and the good of others. Amen.

🌱 Your Book Is a Seed — Let’s Plant It Together

You are Commissioned to Write

Scripture:
“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit — fruit that will last.” — John 15:16 (NIV)

You were chosen — not just for salvation, but for fruitfulness. God has appointed you to bear lasting fruit. And writing is one of the ways you do that.

This isn’t about writing to be noticed. It’s about writing to be obedient.

The words you write today can become the fruit someone else eats tomorrow. A book can disciple someone long after you’ve left the room. That’s legacy.

You are not just “a mom who writes.” You are a woman appointed to bear fruit — through words, wisdom, and witness.

Now, go and write.

Reflection Question:
What lasting fruit do you hope your writing will produce?

Jesus, thank You for choosing me and appointing me to bear fruit. I offer You my voice, my story, and my obedience. Let everything I write bring glory to You and transformation to others. Amen.

🌱Your Next Step: Plant the Seed

You’ve prayed, reflected, and confirmed the call. Now it’s time to take action.
