🌱Day 5: Hey Mama, It’s Time to Break Through the Soil of Fear

Scripture:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41‬:‭10‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Devotional:
Every seed must break through soil before it sees the light. That moment of pressure — when the shell cracks and the roots stretch — is necessary for growth. And yet, it’s uncomfortable.

Fear often surrounds the writing process. Fear of not being good enough. Fear of criticism. Fear that your story is too messy, too ordinary, or too vulnerable.

But God never asked you to be fearless. He simply said, “Do not fear, for I am with you.” That means He’s present in your process — in every page, every pause, every rewrite.

Fear may visit, but it doesn’t get to lead. God is your author and finisher. If He placed the seed in you, He’ll walk with you as you plant it.

Your obedience is greater than your fear. Break through.

What fears have held you back from starting (or continuing) the writing God has placed on your heart?

Prayer:
Father, I confess that fear has often held me back. But today, I choose faith. Walk with me through the discomfort and help me keep writing. Let every page bring me closer to obedience and legacy. Amen.
