God Is With UsНамуна

God is with us in temptations
“God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV)
Paul warns the believers in Corinth not to “desire evil” and commit idolatry, sexual immorality, or rebellion. He cites the people of Israel as an example. They gave in to these kinds of sins and ended up in big trouble. Although this happened centuries ago, the temptations Paul mentions are still relevant. Even today, Christians get carried away by “many senseless and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction.” (1 Timothy 6:9 ESV)
The dangers are real, but believers are not helplessly exposed to these temptations. For in this too, God is with us, says Paul. He will not let us be tempted beyond our strength. With every temptation, He will also provide a way of escape. It is therefore possible to resist, and believers have a duty to do so.
God is with us, God is for us, God protects us. He wants only the best for us. At the same time, He allows His children to face temptations. He does not protect them from every danger. Why do you think God would do that? How do you experience this in your own life?
