Presence 12: Arts That Inspire Reflection & Prayers

DAY 5 OF 5

A Promise Of Peaceful Growth

This verse from Zechariah is a quiet yet powerful promise of restoration. After seasons of struggle and loss, God assures His people that blessing is on the way—peace for the seed, fruit from the vine, and dew from heaven.

Each part of this verse points to God’s faithful provision. The seed, once buried in the soil and unseen, will be nurtured in peace. The vine, once barren, will bear fruit. The land will respond, and heaven will open in grace. It’s a picture of what happens when God brings renewal—not only externally, but within our hearts as well.

In your own life, maybe you’ve been planting in tears, waiting for breakthrough, praying for fruit. Take courage—God sees the seed. He speaks peace over it. And in His time, He brings the harvest.

Reflection:
Where have you been sowing in faith but haven’t yet seen fruit? How can you trust God’s promise of peace and provision today?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being the God of restoration. Speak peace over the seeds I’ve planted in faith. Help me trust that in Your perfect timing, fruit will come, and Your blessing will overflow. Amen.

New Seed Poem inspired by today's bible reference by Julie Perrins:

I hear a new seed calling
A gentle awakening
A calling to wonder
An exploration of undiscovered treasure
I pause, I wait, I listen
For the sound of new rhythms
For the sense of new patterns
For the sight of new landscapes
Unfolding before me
Unfurling within me
Untethering me from past narratives
My destiny awaits
Hope beckons
My soul delights
I join the flow of creative love
I connect to my future
I hear a new seed calling
