Winter Warm-Up Намуна

“Do not wear yourself out to get rich; do not trust your own cleverness.” – Proverbs 23:4 (NIV)
It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle — chasing more money, success, or recognition. But Proverbs reminds us that the pursuit of wealth can be exhausting and deceptive. I’ve been there, thinking just a little more money or one more promotion would bring peace, only to find myself more anxious. True contentment doesn’t come from what we have, but from who we trust. When our eyes are fixed on God instead of gain, we live with greater purpose and less pressure.
Take a moment today to ask yourself:What am I chasing? Write down one area where you’ve been striving too hard and surrender it to God in prayer.
Prayer:
Lord, help me not to wear myself out chasing things that don’t last. Teach me to trust You more than my plans, and to seek Your peace over worldly success. Redirect my heart to find rest in You. Amen.
