Winter Warm-Up Намуна

"Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus." - Acts 8:35 (NIV)
There have been moments in my life when I’ve felt prompted to speak to someone about Jesus, but I hesitated, unsure if my words would make a difference. In Acts 8, Philip steps into an unexpected moment. When the Ethiopian eunuch doesn’t understand what he’s reading, Philip doesn’t hold back. He begins right there, shares the Gospel, and it changes the eunuch’s life forever.
I can’t help but wonder how many times I’ve missed an opportunity because I didn’t step out in obedience or assumed my words wouldn’t matter. But this passage is a powerful reminder that sharing the good news, even in a simple conversation, can have a profound impact. It doesn’t require fancy words or perfect timing—just a willing heart.
Think about your daily interactions. Is there someone in your life who might be open to hearing about Jesus? Look for opportunities to share His love and truth, even in the smallest conversations. Trust that God will use your words, no matter how simple, to impact someone’s heart.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for the opportunities You give me to share Your love. Help me to be bold and obedient when You prompt me to speak, knowing that even one simple conversation can change a life. Amen.
