Winter Warm-Up Намуна

“But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him.” — Acts 12:5 (NLT)
In Acts 12, Peter was chained in prison with no obvious way out, but the church didn’t panic, they prayed. And not just casually; they prayed earnestly!
Their prayers were powerful, and God responded by sending an angel to miraculously set Peter free. Sometimes we underestimate the impact of prayer.
I remember a season when a loved one was facing what seemed like an impossible situation. I couldn’t fix it, but I could pray. Over time, God moved in ways we never expected. Prayer isn’t just a last resort, it’s the most powerful action we can take.
Today, identify someone in your life who is going through a difficult time. Commit to praying for them earnestly, maybe even set a reminder to pray throughout the day. Reach out and let them know you’re lifting them up.
Prayer:
Father, thank You for reminding me that prayer is powerful and effective. Help me to pray with faith and persistence, trusting that You are always at work. Stir my heart to intercede for others and believe for miracles. Amen.
