You Can!Намуна

Have you ever played with wet sand or clay? It is fun to build things with it or shape it using our hands. What makes it fun is that it will take the shape of whatever you put it in. It will mold and mimic whatever we want it to. We are kind of like that at times, too. We get stuck in situations that mold us, or we have relationships that cause us to change over time. Sometimes, we become a version of ourselves that we don’t recognize anymore. We start to look like the world around us.
Paul says that this is the opposite of what we should do. When it comes to who we want to look like, the only answer is Jesus. Paul says that we can choose to allow God to mold us by renewing our minds daily with his word. So, what’s shaping you the most? Talk with God and trusted friends, and ask them to help you make decisions that shape you more like Jesus.
