Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year OneНамуна

Then I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter (Revelation 10:10).
What does God expect you to do with His word?
John describes the vision given to him about a mighty angel who stands on the land and sea. The angel's strategic posture, which occurs three times, shows that the upcoming judgment will be upon land and sea (Revelation 10:2, 5, 8). Jesus earlier directs John to write the Book of Revelation (Revelation 1:19); however, he is told not to pen the details about this judgment (Revelation 10:4). From the little book in the mighty angel's hand will come an unspecified judgment. Moreover, John obeys the voice from heaven taking the book and then is told by the angel to eat it. Just like biblical prophecy, it is sweet to taste, but difficult to digest.
Employment Point: Digest God's Word and proclaim it.
