Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year OneНамуна

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death (Revelation 12:11).
How do you have victory over Satan?
Satan is not an insignificant foe. John lists five titles attributed to the devil that communicate his dastardly nature (Revelation 12:9). Moreover, the Book of Job informs us that he appears before God to give an account of his activity (Job 1:6; 2:1). Revelation 12 describes the point in the Tribulation when he will be expelled from heaven. After being banished from God's presence, John writes, "Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time" (Revelation 12:12). During the Great Tribulation, which pertains to the last half of the Tribulation, the serpent of old seeks to persecute and destroy the saints.
Employment Point: Overcome Satan by Jesus' blood, your testimony, and by loving Jesus supremely.
