Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year OneНамуна

Behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory (Ezekiel 43:2).
Are you awaiting the return of the glorious One?
God's glory departed from the Temple prior to it being destroyed in 586 BC. Ezekiel writes, "And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city and stood on the mountain, which is on the east side of the city" (Ezekiel 11:23). The description of Jesus "like the sound of many waters" appears in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 1:15). Jesus' Second Coming is predicted and will be fulfilled at the end of the Tribulation (Revelation 1:7; 19:11-21). Matthew depicts His advent as follows: "they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory" (Matthew 24:30). Both Ezekiel and Matthew predict His glorious return.
Employment Point: Worship and serve the all-glorious King.
