Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year OneНамуна

Do not let your heart envy sinners, but be zealous for the fear of the LORD all the day (Proverbs 23:17).
Are you protecting your heart from sinner envy?
Satan loves to show Christians all the fun they could be enjoying. He appeals to his three allies: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. The devil takes Jesus on a tour of the world (Luke 4:5). Then he pompously makes the following offer: “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish” (Luke 4:6). Jesus doesn’t yield. Consider Isaiah 50:10, “Who among you fears the LORD? Who obeys the voice of His Servant? Who walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of the LORD and rely upon his God.”
Employment Point: Live in the fear of the Lord, and don’t submit to sinner envy.
