Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year OneНамуна

Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments (Psalm 112:1).
Are you experiencing the blessings of the Lord?
To fear the Lord is to deeply revere His person and work. The psalmist lays out particular blessings upon the individual who fears God and keeps His commandments. First, the Lord imparts both physical and lasting spiritual blessings. “Wealth and riches will be in his house,” conveys the psalmist, “and his righteousness endures forever” (Psalm 112:3). Indeed, he will experience light instead of darkness. “Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness” (Psalm 112:4). The man who fears the Lord is generous, which causes the Lord to bless him abundantly (Psalm 112:5, 9). “He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be exalted with honor” (Psalm 112:9). Let’s fear Him for length of days!
Employment Point: Fear the Lord and know His multifaceted blessings.
