Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year OneНамуна

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes (Romans 10:4).
Have you fulfilled the Law through a personal relationship with Jesus?
The first word in the Greek sentence in Romans 10:4 is “end.” Paul emphasizes that Jesus is the goal or completion of the Old Testament Law leading to our righteousness. Our Lord joins two perplexed disciples as they walk to Emmaus. They are struggling to understand how the Messiah could die. Jesus restrains them from knowing who He is as He travels with them (Luke 24:16). The living Word unfolds the purpose of the Law to them. Luke records, “And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself” (Luke 24:27). Jesus fulfills the Law (Matthew 5:17) and imparts God’s righteousness to all who believe in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Employment Point: Fulfill the Law by believing in Jesus, who alone kept the Law.
