När han kom fram till Antiochia och fick se vad Gud i sin godhet hade gjort i den staden, blev han glad och uppmanade de troende att av hela hjärtat hålla sig till Herren Jesus. Barnabas var en kärleksfull man, fylld av Guds heliga Ande och stark i tron, och han fick därför vara med och vinna ännu fler för Herren.
