God is Compassionate

"But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness" - Psalm 86:15.

Our God is a kind and compassionate Father, always with a heart of love towards His children. Whatever you may fear about the Lord, replace it with the truth that He is for you. His love overpowers any fear, and He is abounding in faithfulness. Whatever you are struggling with today, take it to Him—open your heart to share how you feel, and ask Him to enter into it with you. God comes close and readily gives you the grace, strength, comfort, and anything else you need to see you through.

Try This: Get Baking

Pull out a new recipe that looks enticing. Look through your cupboards for ingredients and get the rest of what you need. Clear space on your kitchen counter and put on some good music. Go through the recipe and combine ingredients; get mixing, stirring, and creating. Baking releases creativity and a rest for your mind as you go through the steps to bake a hot, delicious dessert or side dish. Savor the smells that fill the room, and share the final product with your people.
