Day Four

Comforting the Soul

Promise:

Whenever my busy thoughts were out of control, the soothing comfort of your presence calmed me down and overwhelmed me with delight. Psalms 94:19 (TPT)

Reflection:

Though God did not promise a life free of pain, you can trust He cares about every aspect of your life. The Holy Spirit serves as your Comforter and provides strength beyond what you can fathom. The Holy Spirit also fills you with indescribable peace. If you ask, you can receive supernatural rest from God.

Prayer:

Father God, I turn to you for rest and comfort. Please guide me to live in your peaceful presence. I trust in your grace to give me strength and support in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Declaration:

I choose not to be moved from my trust in God today.
