Or maybe it was something bigger, like the latest gaming system. When we don’t have the money to buy the things we want—when we can’t have the things we want—it’s easy to feel alone or forgotten. It’s easy to think it seems like God is not providing. But I promise, God is. God knows what you need. God knows what you want. God sees you. And God also sees more than the temporary things of this world that you want, too. Don’t get me wrong, money matters. And the things we want to buy with that money matter, too! But God’s promise to us is so much bigger than the things we want in this world. That might mean you have to keep saving up for the new pair of shoes or the gaming system. Through that, we can trust that God will never fail us and that God will always be with us, no matter what our circumstances are. So right now, take one minute and thank God for always being with you, no matter what.
