Give Thanks.  

“And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.” ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Whatsoever you do—choose to give thanks. Whatsoever you do in word or in deed—give thanks. Let the Light of Christ shine in every aspect of your life. Let His Light shine through your Character. Let the Light of Christ shine in your conduct. Let His Light shine in the Boardroom. Let His Light shine on your job. 

Choose to be intentional and choose to reflect Christ in every aspect of your work ethic. Let His Light shine through your work. Let His Light shine through your business. Choose to give thanks in every aspect of your life. For you are a representative of Christ. 

“And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him.” Colossians‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭AMPC‬‬. Choose to reflect the Character of Christ. 

Choose to be a disciple of His Word. Choose to study His Ways. Choose to meditate upon His Word both day and night. Focus upon His Wisdom and Counsel. Let Christ lead your actions both in private and in public. 

The New Living Translation expounds upon Colossians‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭NLT‬‬ in the following manner, “And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father.” For you are a representative of Christ—let everything your hands touch reflect Him.
