“Who? Me?” Look at the blessing revealed in the first line of today’s scripture: God Himself—the Creator and Sustainer of all that exists, the Author of history—“has been mindful of us”! Yes, you—and me! He knows who we are. He is aware of our needs and concerns, our dreams and desires. What a blessing! And God wants to bless us more as we honor Him with our life. In fact, the closer we walk with Jesus, the more like Him we will become. Then, when God uses us to bless someone else, that person may see Jesus reflected in us. When we place other people’s needs and desires before our own, we are in a position to be a blessing. In fact, we are living in a way that glorifies God when we ask Him to use us to bless someone. And what a joy and a blessing to know that God uses us to bless others. May we live thanking God for all His blessings and yielded to His using us to bless others!
