A River Runs Through It Sample

We get to be the first recipients of all Jesus has to offer. He wants to do His work within us first, then in the lives of others. We must receive the water first for ourselves and then seek outlets for the same river to flow. Water needs to flow in order to be living; the life we lead needs to be a source of life to others. Let’s make a decision in these days not to draw back, but to press forward seeking to be a blessing to others. God was with the children of Israel through the desert, was with Jesus, and is with us through these chapters of our lives. We must make a decision to let the river flow in us, through us, and into others regardless of how seemingly small or insignificant it may appear. We cannot despise the days of small beginnings. QUESTIONS What are you believing for God to achieve in you? In your relationships? In generations to come? Within your church or community? What seems to be starting small, but with faith in Jesus, has potential and possibility for greatness?
