Pride Blinds Our Faith Toward God
A prideful person depends on himself rather than on God. Therefore the heart of pride is focused on “self”. Prideful people believe they deserve better than what life has brought them. They not only distort their view of themselves and of others, but are also blinded in their faith toward God. Jesus said "repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." His words and promises never fail.
Prayer: Father Lord, I pray that you will fill me with your spirit of truth each day, help me to be a teachable person, and soften my heart so that I am able to listen to your truth, to be a humble person. I must decrease and your name must increase. Amen.
