Spoiler alert: Jesus died on the cross and He conquered the grave. While doing so, He also conquered the consequences your sins deserve. That is good news! For those who follow Jesus, salvation has come! Can I let you in on more good news? When Jesus went to Heaven, He promised the gift of His presence to His disciples. The Holy Spirit lives in people who have given their life to Jesus. That means you are the Home for God. Do you know how big of a deal that is? The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside of you. The hate you experience for following Jesus will never overpower the Spirit of God inside of you. So consider yourself lucky. If you are hated because of your faith, you are being like Jesus. Just like Jesus, love your enemies, grow through the hate, and always remember that the Spirit of God is inside of you. The world may hate you, but that is ok. This world won’t be your home forever. Let the haters hate and allow Jesus to make you more like Him during it. Are you ready to grow through the hate?
