##### After you have completed today’s reading from the Bible, we encourage you to set aside a moment to listen along to the guide provided as we pray and allow God to speak to us through His word. Ephesians 4:15 says, “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ.” Life is full of communication, both in the things that are said and the things that are done. Whether positive or negative, this communication impacts us deeply and often dramatically shapes our journey through life. Has someone ever said something to you that was truthful yet hurtful? Why did that truth hurt you? Would you say that this truth was shared in love? In light of that experience, how can you speak the truth in love to those around you today? We can often be our own harshest critic and can speak to ourselves in ways that we would never speak to someone else. How are you speaking to yourself today? Are you speaking in love? Being good at speaking truth in love is what leads us, the body of Christ, to maturity. Ask God for His help to guide you in your speech today and beyond. God, help us to discern truth and speak it over ourselves and others in love, just as Christ did. Allow this season to be one of maturing and becoming more like You each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.
