Have you ever thought about being a prisoner for God? 

In the Bible, Paul says that we’re like prisoners for serving Christ. It’s an odd way to think about it. But we should be in service for God. Make sure that you live a life that is worthy of that calling, because you HAVE been called. Now, today many claim the name of Christ and live however they want to live, going wherever they want and acting however they want to act. Paul says no, no, no! You're called by God so make sure you live a life that is worthy of that calling.  And what are we called to?  We are called to live differently than the world. We are to always be humble and gentle, making allowance for each other's faults because of our love for God and them. It's the complete opposite of everything that the human condition tells us — that it's all about us. When we live as slaves for Christ, we will have true peace, hope, and joy!
