Poskytol mi priestor, vytrhol ma, lebo si ma obľúbil. Hospodin ma odmenil podľa mojej spravodlivosti, odplatil mi podľa čistoty mojich rúk, lebo som sa pridŕžal Hospodinových ciest, svojvoľne som sa neodvracal od svojho Boha. Veď všetky jeho práva som mal na zreteli, od jeho ustanovení nedal som sa odvrátiť. Bezúhonne som sa ho pridŕžal a chránil sa previnenia. Hospodin mi odplatil podľa mojej spravodlivosti, podľa čistoty mojich rúk pred jeho očami. Voči vernému si verný, voči šľachetnému šľachetný, voči úprimnému úprimný, ale zvráteného prenecháš jeho zvrátenosti.
