Bratská láska nech trvá. Nezabúdajte na pohostinnosť, lebo niektorí vďaka nej prijali ako hostí anjelov, hoci o tom nevedeli. Pamätajte na väzňov, akoby ste boli s nimi uväznení, pamätajte i na trpiacich, veď aj vy sami ste v tele. Manželstvo nech majú všetci v úcte a manželské lôžko nech je nepoškvrnené, lebo smilníkov a cudzoložníkov bude súdiť sám Boh. Vaše správanie nech neovláda láska k peniazom; buďte spokojní s tým, čo máte. Veď Boh povedal: Nezanechám ťa, ani ťa neopustím. Preto smelo môžeme hovoriť: Pán mi pomáha, nebudem sa báť. Čože mi môže urobiť človek? Pamätajte na svojich vodcov, ktorí vám hovorili Božie slovo, dôkladne pozorujte, aký bol koniec ich života, a napodobňujte ich vieru. Ježiš Kristus je ten istý včera, dnes i naveky.
