Preto v tomto stane vzdycháme a túžime, aby sme boli zaodetí naším príbytkom z neba, a hoci tamten bude z nás vzatý, nebudeme nahí. Veď kým sme v tomto stane, vzdycháme pod ťarchou, a preto nechceme byť z neho zoblečení, ale zaodetí tým nebeským, aby tak život pohltil to, čo je smrteľné. Ten však, ktorý nás práve na to uspôsobil, je Boh, ktorý nám dal Ducha ako závdavok.
