Bratia, pripomínam vám evanjelium, ktoré som vám zvestoval, ktoré ste prijali, v ktorom zotrvávate a skrze ktoré ste aj spasení, ak ho zachovávate tak, ako som vám ho zvestoval, iba že by ste boli nadarmo uverili. Lebo predovšetkým som vám odovzdal, čo som aj sám prijal, že podľa Písem Kristus zomrel za naše hriechy, že bol pochovaný a tretieho dňa vzkriesený podľa Písem a že sa zjavil Kéfasovi a potom Dvanástim. Potom sa zjavil naraz viac ako päťsto bratom, z ktorých väčšina doteraz žije, niektorí však pomreli. Potom sa zjavil Jakubovi a ďalej všetkým apoštolom. Nakoniec zo všetkých, ako nedonosenému, sa zjavil aj mne.
