David had a track record with God. He remembered the lion. He remembered the bear. He remembered every time God had come through before, and he trusted that this giant would fall the same way. While everyone else measured Goliath’s size, David measured God’s strength. That’s why he could step forward with courage.

This wasn’t about luck. It wasn’t even about skill. It was about God’s glory. And because the battle was for God’s glory, the outcome was already determined. The fight was rigged—not just in David’s favor, but in God’s.

You may be in a battle right now. It’s real. It’s heavy. But if your fight is surrendered to God’s glory, then the victory belongs to Him. Stop trying to get God on your side. Start asking how you can get on His.
