Displaying Christ Through Joy
What might attract someone toward journeying with God? Not surprisingly, if those on the journey are experiencing joy, others will want to join them. Joy is something that every heart longs for. Much time and energy is spent in this world trying to find it – usually in all the wrong places. But as followers of Christ, we have the secret to sincere joy in all circumstances. Laine Craft has observed how God has used her enthusiasm for life to spark a curiosity in others.

Are you letting your joy shine through? When you do, you display the hope found in Jesus. This hope attracts people to Him. As you walk on your journey with God, it can be easy to let your circumstances dictate your joy. In those moments, ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with joy rooted in the hope of the gospel. When others see your joy during hard times, their curiosity will never be higher.
