READ Matthew 5:1—6:4
REFLECT “If you live by the Sermon on the Mount, you’ll be happy.” Agree, disagree? Why? Is it possible to follow Jesus’ teaching completely in our modern society?
APPLY There are many different attitudes and actions Jesus commends here. Choose one or two that seem difficult for you and try to begin practicing it or them today.
PRAY Lord, I want to live the kind of life that You commend because I know that’s the way to be the happiest.
