Jesus perfectly mirrors God’s character and nature to us. God has not left us in the dark; He is not hiding from us. We can know Him! How big is your view of Jesus? For some, Jesus is a good moral teacher. For others, Jesus is a religious myth or fairy-tale. Still others, Jesus is just an historical figure but not really worthy of worship. For the author of Hebrews, however, Jesus is of infinite worth and profoundly relevant to our lives. The author of Hebrews uses some of the loftiest language in the New Testament to describe Jesus. Jesus is the owner, creator, and upholder of all things. Jesus perfectly mirrors the character and nature of God. Jesus is real, relevant and magnificent, and Hebrews will help you see why!
