Imagine you’re the demon-possessed man. How would you describe your day? What story would you have told in the days that followed? \- Sailing back across the lake, Jesus encounters a large crowd, and among them, two very different people with very different needs. How does Jesus approach each need? What do you learn about faith from the different people in the story? \- What do you learn about Jesus from today’s reading? Bonus : Take a look at maps of Israel and the area surrounding the Sea of Galilee in Jesus’ time and then compare them to a map of ancient Israel and the twelve tribes’ allotted land.
